It is fully licensed for non-commercial projects and for testing / trials / evaluation - we are really keen to see what you guys can do with these free 3D Model of London sample - do send us your WIPs, renders and tests! The 3D Model of London has previously been used for various projects such as planning, architecture, CGI visulizations, News and TV production and even for wind modelling and drone navigation simulations. Our Level 4 Sample includes Level 4 model of The Shard. For specific buildings where facade detail is required we can provide or custom capture Level 4 Models. If you require different level of detail and accuracy, please take a look at our Level 2 Models. If you require wide area 3D Model of London, please take a look at the Base Model samples. The 3D Model is fully modular with our Base Model and Level 2 and Level 3 3D Models of London. Level 3 3D models are either used on their own or in combination with our Base 3D Model of London when artists / architects / planners require more detail and accuracy and use Base 3D Model of London for backgrounds. The extents of this city block corresponds to OS National Grid. Trees locations (captured with correct height and canopy width) are also included. Terrain is captured using the same technology to accuracy of 20 cm and is separated into land use categories. That means we can capture incredibly detailed models of all roof features including chimneys, parapet walls and dormer windows.

It was captured from a fully licensed 2016 aerial imagery using manual stereo photogrammetry. Our Level 3 3D Model of London is accurate to 15 cm in all axes. It is intended to be used to evaluate our Level 3 3D model of London but feel free to use this sample in any non-commercial project. This 0.25 km2 (500 x 500 meters) sample tile covers Southwark / London Bridge area and includes large part of London Bridge Station, London Bridge and The Shard.
